The Enabler Group was founded in 2002 with the aim of providing BizTalk Server Adapters. The company has since grown to become a centre of excellence within the Integration space.
Philosophy
Although BizTalk Server provides some value in terms of point-to-point integration solutions, its real value is seen in the context of a well defined enterprise architecture, preferably one based on principles of service orientation.
To this end, TEG places a lot of emphasis on creating holistic solutions, founded on solid architectural principles as well as a deep understanding of the customer’s business. In terms of architecture, our thinking has mainly been influenced by concepts from the Enterprise Architecture, ESB and SOA communities. When it comes to understanding the business, we have leveraged industry initiatives like the TeleManagement Forum’s NGOSS program for telecoms and the ACORD initiative for insurance.
In an effort to increase quality and reduce cost, we are proponents of methodologies suggested in the areas of Generative Programming, Software Product Lines and Software Factories. Although our ambitions in this regard have not yet been fully realised, we see much of our future competitive advantage coming from investments we are currently making in these areas.
